Mohamed Shaheen
Founder & CEO
Mohamed Shaheen founded Appgain in 2016 and has led it ever since as CEO, bringing 20+ years of experience in AI, automation, and enterprise technology to the company's product and go-to-market direction.
A serial entrepreneur, he previously co-founded Nabolia, a furniture e-commerce and circular-economy venture that won an EU GIMED sustainability grant, and began his career in digital security and identity/KYC at Gemalto (now Thales).
At Appgain, he has built and scaled a run of SaaS products over the past decade — AppBoost, RetailGain, Shrinkit, and now ConnectGain — taking the company from a marketing-automation shop to a full agentic AI workforce platform serving 1,200+ client deployments across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He remains hands-on across product management, solution architecture, sales, and delivery, and is a regular speaker at EngineerX and Techne Summit.
